GMP PROTOPIC III 540 Plus

The PROTOPIC III-Plus 540 is suitable for the professional processing of sleeking films. Sleeking, smoothing in German, allows the partial highlighting or application of metallic foils to individual motifs, forms or fonts similar to spot lacquering and embossing. In this case, the motif, which is to be highlighted, is printed with a toner-based digital printing system (for example HP-Indigo or XEROX) onto an already mat-laminated printing sheet (which can be offset or digital printing). Subsequently, these sheets are processed with the sleeking film in the Protopic, and the toner surface is very strongly smoothed or a metallic film is applied. The sleeking film is several times, the metallic films can only be used once.
