Strapping bands are used for strapping goods and packages and are indispensable tools for securing loads nowadays. They are characterized by their durability and versatility and are available in various designs and materials (PET, PP, textile, composite and steel). Strapping for packaged goods, packages and pallets is ideal for securing a wide range of goods.
A strapping band offers an efficient solution for securely sealing packages such as boxes or pallets. They provide stability and protection during transportation or storage, preventing goods from being damaged or slipping.
With the appropriate accessories such as sealing clips, sealing sleeves and plastic buckles, strapping is placed tightly around goods and loads and then tightened and sealed. This not only keeps the packages firmly together, but also protects them from unauthorized access.
Whether for transporting heavy loads or bundling smaller items, strapping is versatile and helps you to handle and store your products safely and efficiently.
When choosing the right strapping, it depends on the nature of your package and the type of strapping. Each type of strapping has different properties, for example in terms of tear resistance and elasticity.
PP-Strapping tape
PP strapping is ideal for light pallet loads and parcels that need to be stored for short to medium periods. The plastic strap is characterized by its high elasticity, which allows it to adapt to all packaging shapes without damaging them. PP strapping can be processed by hand as well as with semi-automatic or fully automatic strapping machines.Steel strap
Steel strapping is the first choice for strapping particularly heavy and stiff pallet loads. It is characterized by maximum tensile strength. It can be used to bundle particularly sharp-edged and heavy goods. The steel strapping is made of blued, extremely resistant rolled steel and is therefore particularly robust.
PET-Strapping tape
PET strapping is particularly suitable for heavy packaged goods from approx. 500 kg for manual and automatic processing. Compared to PP strapping, it has greater stretch and elastic recovery and is therefore a good alternative to steel strapping. The advantages of PET strapping are its low weight, high flexibility, high corrosion resistance and tear resistance.
Textile-Strapping tape
Heavy and sensitive loads are often optimally secured with textile strapping for pallets. Textile strapping is often used for strapping pipes, metal parts, racks and pallets. Textile strapping consists of durable polyester fibers that are bonded together with hot glue, making the strap extremely tear-resistant. Textile strapping leaves no marks on the package. Textile strapping is therefore also very suitable for sensitive surfaces.
Komposit-Strapping tape
Companies have long valued the reliability and stability of composite tape. The high stability is achieved by the special composition of the individual components - composite strapping consists of several polyester threads joined together and is also coated with plastic. These properties give the product a high level of robustness, which is particularly important when transporting bulky and heavy goods. In addition, the efficient seal strength and high abrasion protection ensure that the package is perfectly secured.
Paper-Strapping tape
The sustainable alternative to PP strapping. Easy to use manually or with standard strapping tools, paper strapping made from renewable raw materials is perfect as a seal for indoor storage and for shipping light pallets or packages.
Strapping tools and automatic strapping machines make it easier for you to tension, seal and cut the strapping. Manual strapping tools are mobile and flexible to use. They are ideal for horizontal and vertical strapping and work without seals. Electric strapping tools, on the other hand, are particularly efficient and save energy. They adapt their tensioning force to the packaged goods and are suitable for PP strapping of different widths.
Closing sleeves
Locking sleeves are made of metal or galvanized metal and are attached to the corresponding belt using a tensioning and locking device. When the seals are pressed together, a permanent and firm connection is created. Sealing sleeves can be used for vertical and horizontal strapping and are available in various strap widths.
Locking clips
Locking clips are ideal if you want to work without additional accessories. They allow you to optimally tighten and tension the strapping. The sealing clips are self-locking and can be easily attached to the strap. You can either tighten the sealing clips by pulling on the strapping or use a strap tensioner or reel tensioner. Sealing clips are available in various sizes and are suitable for sealing composite, PP strapping and textile strapping.
