The KEENCUT EVOLUTION 3 SmartFold 1.6 m is a cutting device that can be mounted on any workbench as well as on the specially designed workbench for KEENCUT EVOLUTION E2/E3. When not in use, the SmartFold can be stored under the bench (folded under the workbench). The equipment also includes an integrated cutting bar for use with the optional textile cutting head. This means that no cutting pad is required.
The KEENCUT EVOLUTION 3 SmartFold features KEENCUT's unique Lift-and-Hover technology (patent pending), which allows all media to be aligned quickly and easily with one hand, regardless of thickness. A clutch within the lift-and-hover system allows the cutting bar to be easily raised and lowered so that it hovers just millimetres above the material surface - there is no sagging or drooping.
The KEENCUT EVOLUTION 3 SmartFold cutters, like all EVOLUTION 3, impress with precision and an ultra-high cutting accuracy of 0.2 mm over the entire cutting length and are ideal for cutting lightweight foam board, paper, cardboard, foils, fabrics and many other flexible and rigid materials.
The KEENCUT EVOLUTION 3 SmartFold is available in six convenient sizes from 1.1 m to 3.6 m cutting length.
