The EXCELAM Micro is suitable for the professional processing of sleeking films.

Sleeking, smoothing in German, allows the partial highlighting or application of metallic foils on individual motifs, forms or fonts similar to spot lacquering and embossing. Here, the subject which is to be highlighted is printed with a toner-based digital printing system (e.g., HP-Indigo or XEROX). These sheets are then processed with the sleeking film in the EXCELAM Micro, and the toner surface is very strongly smoothed or a metallic film is applied.
