Sleeking allows the partial highlighting or application of metallic foils similar to spot lacquering and embossing.In this case, the motif which is to be emphasized is printed with a toner-based digital printing system (for example, HP-Indigo or XEROX) on an already mat-laminated printing sheet or on an offset printing sheet. Subsequently, these sheets are processed with the sleeking film with a suitable laminating system and the toner surface is very strongly smoothed or a metallic film is applied.
