Der IDEAL 4108 // P-2 ist ein Großmengen-Aktenvernichter mit Streifenschnitt. Der Aktenvernichter oder auch Shredder, Schredder, Reißwolf oder Papierwolf genannt ist ein Gerät zum Vernichten von Dokumenten, der mit Hilfe des Schneidwerkes alte Akten mittels Streifenschnitt oder Partikelschnitt - auch Cross Cut genannt - zerschneidet und damit die Akten oder Dokumente vernichtet. Neben Papier können moderne Aktenvernichter auch Kreditkarten sowie CDs und DVDs zershreddern. Einsatz finden Aktenvernichter vor allem im Büroalltag, werden aber auch im privaten Bereich vermehrt eingesetzt.
